An essay contest about cultural diversity with cash prizes to Saratoga Springs high school students:
SaratogaCODE (Committee on Diversity Education) announces its 2019 essay contest. Any high school student in Saratoga Springs, NY, including students who are home schooled, are invited to compete.
First and second place winners will be awarded $200 and $100, respectively. Essays must be 1,000 to 1,200 words long and should address the following:
What does cultural diversity mean to you and how does it manifest itself in Saratoga Springs? How do you personally contribute to enhance such diversity in your community?
The deadline is May 15th, 2019.
A subcommittee at SaratogaCODE will judge the essays based on content and form (i.e. grammar, spelling, etc.).
