The Winners of the essay contest about cultural diversity will be announced after our meeting on May 28th, 2019. Thanks to all of the students who submitted an essay for The 2019 Essay Contest!
First and second place winners will be awarded $200 and $100, respectively.
This years Essay:
"What does cultural diversity mean to you and how does it manifest itself in Saratoga Springs? How do you personally contribute to enhance such diversity in your community?"
The deadline was May 15th, 2019. The subcommittee at SaratogaCODE will conclude the judging of the essays, and issue a check to each of the winners.

The mission of the Saratoga Committee On Diversity Education is to serve as an educational resource on diverse cultures. This includes cultural festivals, forums, round tables and other events to
improve inclusion and acceptance. We aim to eliminate bias and discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, individual physical attributes, nationality, economic status, and religious beliefs.

Diversity enriches quality of life in the community by exposing its members to different people, cultures, values, and views.
